The booking system handles two types of bookings: Services, and Events. It’s important that you understand the difference between them.
Services
A service is any service you offer, such as a treatment or consultation, which is carried out during your working hours as an appointment. Customers pick their desired date and time when booking the service (as opposed to Events where the event is taking place on a specific date and time). Here’s an example of a bookable service:
Events
Events are classes, workshops, reatreats or other events which take place on a specific date and time, such as weekly yoga classes or one-off group events. Customers book to attend an event, which is scheduled to take place at a specific time. Events can be recurring, meaning they repeat every week, month, or year. Here’s an example of a bookable event:
